Positive Television intends to be a television network that promotes individuals, organizations, and events that are working to improve communities and lives throughout the world. Programming plans include sporting events, concerts, stand up comedy routines, dinners and roasts, fashion shows, game shows, and specials that will all donate their proceeds to social causes.
The goal of this network is to show celebrity fund raising events that inspire the audience to want to gain more awareness and involvement with important issues. We hope to broadcast the many events that are already taking place around the world, therefore much of the programming is simply recording what is already being done and televising it. We do however also plan to create programming such as town halls after major events such as school shootings, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other tragedies to help everyone people voice their feelings and try to move forward as a community. Creating diverse yet quality programming is important to this network. We believe that this network will gain quite a following with the variety and positive nature of the programs. We expect Positive Television to be the first and most popular place for people to learn about philanthropy and volunteerism. Positive Television believes we should be positive, stay positive, and try to do something positive.
